Key Features

1. This machine is essential core equipment for insulating glass production and functions as an automatic sealant applicator. It is operated manually by an operator holding the aluminum spacer frame: after placing the aluminum spacer frame on the conveyor belt, the operator guides it along the belt as it moves; When the aluminum spacer frame passes the sensor, the conveyor pressure roller and the sealing valve will automatically operate according to the preset program—the cylinder activates, the pressure roller presses down, and the aluminum spacer frame is pushed forward; once the aluminum spacer frame reaches the sealing head position, sealing begins, evenly applying the sealant to the surface of the aluminum spacer frame; when the other side of the spacer frame is about to leave the pressure roller and the trailing end has left the sealing head, the sealing valve automatically stops dispensing.

2. The equipment features a user-friendly HMI display for convenient operation. The control system is PLC-based and comprises photoelectric sensors, a Chinese-language control terminal, a PLC automatic conversion module, push-button switches, and other electrical components. It offers powerful functionality, reliable operation, simple handling, and a high degree of automation.

3. This machine is equipped with the largest adhesive cylinder currently available in China (Ø195), providing a large adhesive capacity that maximizes continuous production time and enhances work efficiency. It utilizes an advanced pneumatic pressure-boosting system with a pressure-relief-free function for adjusting aluminum strip width, ensuring stable adhesive dispensing pressure from the nozzle and preventing issues such as uneven bead thickness or adhesive breakage. The three-stage variable-frequency speed control design accommodates operators of varying skill levels, further improving operational efficiency.

4. The machine’s main features are as follows: (1) Customizable automatic heating time; (2) Automatic heating functions for the nozzle and adhesive cylinder; (3) Equipped with an automatic standby function to reduce operator monitoring time and improve work efficiency; (4) Features an adhesive shortage alarm.

5. The stainless steel work surface ensures the machine’s aesthetic appeal while facilitating cleaning and maintenance.

Q: Can this machine handle different types of butyl rubber? 2026-06-09 13:58:55.254
A: Most models support standard, anti-aging, and low-VOC hot-melt butyl rubbers. Check compatibility with your chosen brand and viscosity grade (low/medium/high).
Q: Why is my butyl coating uneven or with rough edges? 2026-06-09 13:58:39.350
A: Common causes include dirty nozzle outlets, inconsistent heating temperature, or improper spacer feeding. Clean the nozzles regularly and calibrate the heating system to match your butyl rubber viscosity.
Q: What is the role of butyl rubber coating in IGUs? 2026-06-09 13:58:19.471
A: It acts as the primary moisture barrier, applied to aluminum spacers to bond with glass panes and prevent water vapor ingress, which would cause condensation inside the unit.
Q: What is the difference between standalone machines and a full automatic line? 2026-06-09 13:57:59.307
A: Standalone machines handle individual tasks (e.g., only butyl coating), while a fully automatic line integrates all steps (washing, spacer processing, sealing, pressing) into one continuous workflow, reducing labor and improving consistency.
Q: What is the main purpose of these machines? 2026-06-09 13:57:42.167
A: They form a complete production line for manufacturing insulated glass units (IGUs). Each machine handles a specific step—from applying primary seals (butyl rubber), filling desiccants (molecular sieve), bending aluminum spacers, to final sealing—ensuring airtight, energy-efficient glass units.
